Apostle James Lamb, Th. B

Someone said that we will not have a burden for the lost until we experience a “holy discontent.” And that only happens when we put ourselves in the place where we will feel that discontent – where our hearts will be broken for the lost, the least and the last. With a desire to share the good news of the gospel to the masses, coupled with his broken heart for the lost, the least and the last led Apostle James Lamb to become a disciple-maker of disciple-makers.

His obedience to God and the prodding of the Holy Spirit positioned Pastor Lamb as the driving force behind planting The Urban New Life Bible Church, The Urban Outreach Ministries, The Urban Academy in Atlanta, and Project Uplift after-school program  and God’s Word for the World Radio Ministry. From these ministries, Pastor James Lamb cast a vision for missions from the pulpit.

Overcoming the obstacles of tradition (this is not the way we do things), mental acumen (we are not ready for this), denominational position (this isn’t church policy), and political barriers (this may not be safe!), Pastor Lamb modeled to other pastors and congregations that by answering the call to Global Missions transforms ones life.  To exemplify the Great Commission, Pastor Lamb traveled to foreign countries including Brazil, Nova Scotia, and Jamaica.

Apostle Lamb matriculated at  Morris Brown College, Carver Bible College, Luther Rice Seminary, and Beulah Heights University.

After serving many pastors locally, nationally, and internationally, Pastor Lamb was ordained and consecrated an Apostle. Today, God has positioned Apostle James W. Lamb as the Chief Apostle and Presiding Prelate of The Harvest Urban International Churches.
